1. Nature of the Trip
• This is a pilot / test retreat, organised on a cost-sharing, non-commercial basis.
• All activities and arrangements are made in good faith to create a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Participants join in the spirit of trust, community, and shared responsibility.

2. What’s Included / Not Included
Included:
• Shared accommodation
• Daily meals: breakfast, lunch/packed lunch, and dinner
• During restaurant dinners: one drink included (soft drink, beer, or glass of wine)
• Airport pick-up and drop-off in Gran Canaria
• Local transport during the retreat program
Not included:
• Flights to and from Gran Canaria
• Travel/health insurance. It is mandatory to have a travel insurance.
• Extra food, snacks, and drinks beyond the above
• Additional personal expenses outside the program

3. Payments & Refunds
• Trip price: 1244 euros.
• Payment is due at booking, by direct transfer.
• If a participant cancels after payment, refunds are not guaranteed (though the organiser may refund if another person takes the spot).

4. Flights
• Participants are responsible for booking and paying for their own flights to Gran Canaria.
• In case the retreat is cancelled by the organiser, the retreat fee will be fully refunded.
• The organiser is not responsible for flight costs or any other expenses outside the retreat fee.

5. Safety & Liability
• Retreat activities may involve movement, exercise, or outdoor conditions that carry inherent risks.
• Each participant joins at their own risk and is responsible for their own health and safety.
• All participants must have valid travel and adventure sports insurance that covers all activities. This is mandatory and ensures you are protected in the rare case of injury, medical emergencies, trip cancellations, or lost property. We strongly recommend reviewing your policy to ensure it covers all aspects of the trip.

Participants must follow the safety guidelines, instructor instructions, and respect local ocean conditions at all times.
• Participants must also carry their personal health documentation (e.g. European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), GHIC, or equivalent) and provide details in advance if needed.
• The organiser and collaborators are not liable for injuries, accidents, illnesses, delays, lost property, or flight disruptions.

6. Medical & Dietary Information
• Participants must inform the organiser in advance of:
• Allergies or dietary restrictions
• Medical conditions or special requirements that may affect participation
• Each participant confirms they are physically fit to take part in the retreat.

7. Flexibility
• The organiser may adjust the schedule, activities, or meals due to weather, safety, or local provider availability.
• Any changes will be made with participants’ best interests in mind.

8. Good Faith Agreement
• By attending, participants acknowledge they are joining in good faith, with the understanding that this is a community-based pilot experience.

9. Photography & Media
• During the retreat, photos and videos may be taken by the organiser and collaborators.
• By joining, participants agree that these images may be used for future promotional, marketing, and social media purposes by Wave Within Adventures.
• If a participant prefers not to be featured, they must inform the organiser in advance, and reasonable efforts will be made to respect this preference.

10. Code of Conduct & Respect
We strive to create a friendly, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. Any form of misconduct, disrespectful behaviour, or failure to follow instructions that jeopardizes safety or disrupts the experience for others will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove participants from activities or the program if necessary.

By booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. You also acknowledge that participation in this program is voluntary and at your own risk.
